The activity is aimed at conducting research & development projects within its basic scope of activities, improvement of work safety and conditions and undertakings directed towards diversification into the area of new technologies in order to achieve  sustainable development growth

Goals: reinforcing the competitive edge of the Consortium Members on domestic and foreign markets, supporting their participation in international research programmes, supporting the restructuring and management streamlining processes.

Consortium created to fulfil the project tasks within the framework of the “IniTech” programme

A scientific-industrial consortium established to enhance the cooperation between the research and development branch and the economy by developing, implementing and application of new technologies in the economy, which are related to industries considered priorities in the country’s scientific and scientific-technological policy.

Established in order to implement joint ecological projects. The scope of activities includes support and cooperation with the Polish government, state and voivodeship administration authorities, in particular with the Ministry of Environment, as regards timely preparation and professional implementation of the IPPC directive in Poland, which has key significance for fulfilling the Poland’s obligations in relation to EU accession in the field of environmental protection.

ŚCZT is a scientific and industrial consortium of academic universities, Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, sectoral institutes, research & development units, technology parks, independent economic subjects, organisations, foundations and associations. ŚCZT conducts its activity in the entire territory of Poland and outside borders of Poland with particular focus on Silesian Voivodeship. ŚCZT has a goal to strengthen collaboration between research and development area and economy by means of developing and implementing new technologies related to these fields of science that are considered being of utmost importance for the economy in its assumptions for scientific and scientific-technical policy.

      Activity goals:
      • Integration seminars
        • meetings with the following Department Deans: Construction, Mechanics, Electrotechnics and Automatics, Production Engineering Management,
        • meetings of scientific employees and individual departments in order to set research priorities for the forthcoming years and establishing joint teams to prepare research projects and submit applications for subsiding research from many sources (VI Framework Research Programme).

      • Promotion of consortium activity
        • maintaining  close contacts with the government authorities and voivodeship self-governing authorities, city Opole and other communes and districts,
        • participation in seminars, conferences and meetings devoted to implementation of innovations in industry ,
